Weight Distribution
When using a Weight Distribution System, the ball weight remains the same, however the load is evenly distributed through the vehicle’s chassis to all four wheels. It is important that the capacity of the Weight Distribution System is correctly chosen and that the vehicle manufacturer’s recommendations are always followed. Hayman Reese Classic System
The Classic can be described as the Hayman Reese signature kit. The system is comprised of our proven traditional welded head, trunnion style high performance bars with integrated cams, and with light weight extra durable cast steel shanks.
800lb Kit – Classic Series (28 inch Spring Bars)
The 800lb kit relies on heavier gauge spring bars than the 600lb to handle heavier trailers. As the name implies, the 800lb kit is designed to work with trailers that have a ball weight between 275kg and 365kg.

Hayman Reese Standard System
The Standard kit is comprised of round, hook style high performance spring bars with integrated cams. Round spring bars allow for more clearance for trailers with 6” chassis. The system shares the same shank as the Classic kit and also has a light weight cast steel head.
600lb Kit – Standard Series (30 inch Spring Bars)
Hayman Reese’s famous 600lb kit is a 600lb/275kg rated system and is by far the most popular towing aid in Australia. This kit suits trailers that have a ball weight between 135kg and 275kg.
800lb Kit – Standard Series (30 inch Spring Bars)
The 800lb kit relies on heavier gauge spring bars than the 600lb to handle heavier trailers. As the name implies, the 800lb kit is designed to work with trailers that have a ball weight between 275kg and 365kg.
Hayman Reese Dual Cam High Performance Sway Control
The Hayman Reese Dual Cam High-Performance™ Sway Controller is the premier method of controlling sway,and the only product of its kind in the Australian market.
The advantage of the Dual Cam system is its ability to prevent sway in addition to sway resistance. It works to hold down the start of swaying activity while at the same time allowing free and easy vehicle and trailer interaction. Another advantage of the Dual Cam system is that it’s installed on the trailer and therefore doesn’t require adjustment every time the towing vehicle and trailer are hooked up, unless hitch weight or tow vehicle loading are changed.
The Dual Cam HP is fitted in conjunction with any Heavy Duty Hayman Reese Weight Distribution System that includes high performance spring bars with Cams. It is ideal for any trailers with a ball weights in excess of 200kg.
Hayman Reese Friction Sway Control
Complete sway control can be obtained by fitting a Hayman Reese Friction sway controller. Hayman Reese sway controllers are designed to be used in conjunction with a weight distributing systems and prevent trailer sway by restricting and damping the movement between the tow hitch and the trailer.
A Friction Sway Controller can be used with Weight Distribution Systems 550lb, 600lb, 750lb & 800lb models, and are perfect for trailers up to a 200kg ball weight.
Coast to Coast 4 Bar Equaliser Towing Kit
This 4 Bar Equalizer Towing Kit makes a BIG difference in the load transferred to the cars front wheels and provides more evenly distributed weight across the A frame of your caravan. This will help by keeping your front wheels on the road in wet and slippery conditions as well as the overall handling.
